Real Madrid and Spain captain has revealed the player that really deserves the FIFA The Best award.
Ramos has given full support to his teammate Luka Modric after the Croatian midfielder won the Ballon d’Or.
Modric won the FIFA Best award with 29% of the vote and Ramos is of the view that Croatia international deserves the award
“Luka would deserve the Ballon d’Or too,”
“When you analyse the level of performance this year then it would need to be him, Ronaldo or Messi who would win the award.
“Messi won those awards whenever Andres Iniesta or Xavi would have also been just winners, so I would give it to Modric.
“Why did Ronaldo and Messi not show up? It is disappointing as you always want to see the best players at these awards, Ramos told Marca.
