5 goals in space of 9 minutes by Robert Lewandowski. He was on fire that day ,what restraints Ronaldo and Messi from that is one has lack of good passers in team while other player's team plays possession football.

Fastest goal as a substitute by Nicklas Bendtner (1.8 seconds) as they rarely come as substitutes :P

Of course, even if they are the nearest to that feat they will still not able to break it.Yes, that record held by Pele for more than three decades.One more record that I can think of is the International goal record held by Ali Daei of Iran, 109 goals, even Pele had 77 goals for Brazil national team. It is really difficult for Cristiano,Messi to break it but, only Neymar can break it if his scoring stream for Brazil continues.Talking about the WC goals, I think it is difficult for both to achieve that feat, maybe Muller and Neymar can set a new record but not sure about Messi and Cristiano.And the last one set by Pele, the hattrick record 92 times is also not possible for both currently.These are the only major goal scoring record I can think of.

Apart from that I think they have broken all the major records be it the CL goalscoring feat,they are record goalscorers of their national teams, in La Liga they keep breaking records like aliens;they are top guys in scoring from freekicks,hattricks,giving numerous assists at least in La Liga.

So yeah, there is a reason why they are G.O.A.T
