Odunlade Adekola Excitedly Shares His Experience As A Student In Unilag

Odunlade Adekola Excitedly Shares His Experience As A Student In Unilag

Actor, Odunlade Adekola, is one of the most popular faces in the Nigerian movie industry at the moment. Well loved by many, he has a cult following which cuts across all sections of society.

Odunlade is an alumnus of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, but a few years ago, he returned to school.

He was a student at the University of Lagos where he studied Business Administration until a few weeks ago when he sat for his final exams. The elated actor shared photos of himself and other students as they jubilated after the final exams.

In a chat with Sunday Scoop, Adekola spoke about his experience while at the school.

It has been by the grace of God that I was able to conclude my education at the University of Lagos. Because of my profession, there were times that my schedule was so tight that I had to forgo one for the other.
But I always had it at the back of my mind that I must finish what I started. I also thank my fellow students and lecturers for their support throughout my stay in the school. I really had a nice time there,” he said.

Did he enjoy star treatment as a student? Odunlade said,

“I am a very simple person, and everyone around me knows that. I just like to do my thing and mind my business. As a popular person, there were times that fans gushed over me while I was in school, but I always tried my best to manage the attention so that it wouldn’t distract me or other students.

“I always encouraged my colleagues to see me as one of them and I related with all of them well. The lecturers were also nice to me and I had a cordial relationship with them all.”

Stating the reason he chose to study Business Administration, Adekola said,

“I have always had the dream of owning my company. I love to manage people to achieve set goals, and I believe that this course would help me in that regard.”

On what his next move is in academics, the actor added,

“Knowledge gathering is a continuous process; it never stops. One should never stop learning because you can never know it all. I may decide to return to school to study another course. I don’t know what the future holds. I am interested in constantly developing myself and that has been of great advantage to me.”

Help! I lied to my fiancé that I am a virgin, my wedding is in December

Help! I lied to my fiancé that I am a virgin, my wedding is in December

When I was 15, a man in our neighbourhood had sex with me. I was too confused and embarrassed to tell anyone about it. I didn’t get pregnant. While growing up, I still remembered the incident and kept away from dating through out my university days.

I met my fiancé in 2014. Somehow I told him I was still a virgin when we were still getting to know ourselves. He asked me to marry him soon after. It seemed as if the main reason he wanted marriage was because he felt I was a decent girl and I didn’t want him to find out after our wedding. I did some stuffs to my vagina and we had sex. It was like the whole process of deflowering again. He seemed satisfied.

The issue is that I feel scared starting my marriage on a lie. Standing before the priest when there’s a secret between us. We’ve done the necessary intro. I don’t know what to think anymore. Should I let him continue believing he’s the only man I’ve been with?

Wizkid finally breaks silence on not attending any of Banky W’s wedding, States Reasons

Wizkid finally breaks silence on not attending any of Banky W’s wedding, States Reasons

Wizkid has finally broken silence on not attending neither of Banky W’s wedding..

Recall, the starboy revealed how sad and depressed he was after he was unable to attend the Traditional Wedding, which went down in Victoria Island, Lagos..

…and then he said He’d definitely not miss the White wedding, as he’d be the FIRST ONE to be present at the Wedding venue.

Here’s what he wrote on His Instagram and Snapchat below, after missing the traditional wedding…

We all of course, expected to See pictures of the Starboy in South Africa for Banky’s wedding, but then, he disappointed us all, as he didn’t attend, as widely speculated..

Instead, he shared pictures chilling with his first son, Boluwatife..

This of course angered some fans online, and they trooped to his instagram to call him names, “Proud and arrogant”.. It’s just dirty. (Read The Comments Here).

Some defended him, and some trusted sources said his passport was withheld, reason for his absence in South Africa.. the source further told us that one of Adesua’s Bestie, suffered the same fate, as she could not also attend the Wedding in SA, because her passport was withheld too.

Looks like our source is true as Wizkid just confirmed that the reason for his absense at the wedding has something to do with his passport.

Wayne Rooney scores stunning goal from own half to complete hat-trick in front of new Everton manager Sam Allardyce

The former England captain caught Joe Hart off his line and scored the sweetest of strikes at Goodison Park

Rooney had scored two in the first-half, missing a penalty but scoring on the rebound and adding a tap-in at the far post.
But his best was to come later on.
After a long ball over the top, Joe Hart rushed out to make a clearance.
But the ball fell to Rooney who, inside his own half, sent the ball sailing back over Hart's head.
The goal will surely go down as one of the goals of the season - and one of the best of his career.

But the cry of the baby attracted the attention of one of the neighbor’s, who call on others on the suppose good news. On arrival they saw that the door was locked and Miss Elohoh refuse to open the door but on persistent one of the siblings opened. The kind hearted neighbor’s did a marathon in getting some of the needed materials likes cloths and food for the baby and mother since she didn’t buy any. After the celebration everyone went home leaving Elohoh and one of the siblings since the mom was not around that day hoping to check on her in the morning. As faithful as the neighbors they came in the morning to see how Elohoh and her baby was doing only to find out that there was no baby anywhere. They asked Elohoh about the child where she claim that the father came late in the night and took the baby away having noticed that the child was not breathing well as claimed by her.
The neighbor’s could not believe the story Elohoh gave and decided to interrogate her, she held on to the same story but one of them suggested that the sibling will give a better story of what actually happened to the child.
And now this is the story as told by him. He said late in the night when everyone was gone, Elohor boiled warm water and forced it on the child to kill him but the child could not take much which ended up burning the entire mouth of the day old child as If that was not enough when the child defied death, she took a rag and tired it around the child nose and mouth which suffocated the child to death. When she noticed that the child was dead she took the corpses and put him on the sack loaded the sack with refuse and plantain pills then gave it to an insane man to throw off early in the morning as refuse.

Again wonders will never end….. Only God will help us”

Video Of Migrants Sold In Outward Slave Auction In Libya Aggravates international Outrage

A video footage showing migrants and refugees apparently being sold at a slave auction in Libya has aggravated global outrage and the UN Secretary-General has called on the international community to “unite in fighting this scourge”.
About week ago, a report was published by CNN published on modern slavery in Libya, featuring a video that was shot in August.
It is understood that in the grainy mobile footage, unrecognized men are offered up as a group of “big strong boys for farm work”.
“Does anybody need a digger? This is a digger, a big strong man, he’ll dig,” the auctioneer, who is dressed in camouflage gear, is heard saying.
“Big strong boys,” the man said in the video, according to a CNN narrator. “400 … 700 … 800,” he called out the mounting prices.
The men were sold for as little as £300, the US broadcaster reported.
After the footage emerged, protests erupted in Paris and other cities, while Libyans expressed solidarity with the victims with the hashtag #LibyansAgainstSlavery.
Several world leaders also spoke against it.
The chairman of the African Union, Guinean President Alpha CondĂ©, called it a “despicable trade … from another era” on Friday.

The U.N. Support Mission in Libya said Wednesday that it was “dismayed and sickened,” and is “actively pursuing” the matter with Libyan authorities.
“I am horrified at news reports and video footage showing African migrants in Libya reportedly being sold as slaves,” U.N. Secretary-General AntĂłnio Guterres said to reporters on Monday.
“Slavery has no place in our world, and these actions are among the most egregious abuses of human rights and may amount to crimes against humanity.”
Guterres called for the international community to unite in fighting the abuse and smuggling of migrants, notably by increasing avenues for legal migration and enhancing international cooperation in cracking down on smugglers and traffickers.
Meanwhile, the Libyan government said it has launched an investigation into the slave auctions, adding that the international community needed to provide more support if it was going to tackle the problem.

Kidnappers of Igbonla school pupils lay down their ammunition in Ondo State

The militants who kidnapped six students from senior Secondary School pupils of Lagos Model College, Igbonla, Epe, Lagos State, some months ago, were among some youths that laid their ammunition to embrace the amnesty programme of the Ondo State Government on Tuesday.
The militants were also alleged to be involved in several pipeline vandalism at Arepo in Ogun State and multiple attacks in the riverine areas of Ondo State.
The militants were led by Ogailo Young, their leader also known as OC, to the Collection and Documentation of Arms Centre in Ajakpa community in the Ese-Odo Local Government Area of the state.
They said they ready to drop their arms and ammunition to embrace the amnesty programme and allow peace to reign in the state.
Young appreciated the state and the Federal Government for the fresh amnesty initiative extended to his men.
He said joblessness and poverty, as a result of neglect by government, led them to crime.
He said, “If we are asked the reasons for embarking on our struggle, the simple answer is joblessness, suffering, poverty, oppression, and neglect by the government. “We did not find life easy. We relocated to Ogun State and the schoolboys in Government College, Igbonla, Epe, were kidnapped.
Their release led to the present arrangement through the courageous efforts of the deputy governors of Ondo and Delta states. We did not kidnap these boys for mere ransom, but to negotiate our freedom and re-integration into normal life.” The leader of the repentant armed group added that the members decided to stop illegal oil bunkering and planned the kidnap in order to get the attention of the government.

A Man who cut off his pregnant ex-lover’s nipples, has been sentenced to 45 years in prison

A man has been accused of using scissors to cut his ex-girlfriend’s bre.asts and he has been sentenced yesterday to 45 years in prison, the maximum sentence possible.
Tony Deval Ledbetter, 46, pleaded guilty in August to three counts of aggravated assault for choking and strangling his ex-girlfriend and using scissors to cut her nipples.
The survivor gave a powerful, gruesomely detailed statement of what happened that night during Tuesday’s court appearance in Lincoln County, and she shared how her injuries have affected her physically and emotionally.
“He told me he was a nice guy,” she said. “Nice guys don’t do this.”
She addressed Ledbetter directly at one point, saying, “Do you feel like a man?”
He did not look up at her during her statement.
Ledbetter also gave a statement of apology, and he once again admitted his guilt.
“I apologize to the court and to (the victim),” Ledbetter said. “I don’t believe in violence. … It’s hard to fathom this happened. It will never happen again. I don’t seek violence.”
Ledbetter was arrested in October 2016 after he assaulted the woman, who was pregnant with his child. He admitted the assault to police but said it was in self-defense.
Ledbetter had asked to speak with the victim about their relationship at her apartment. She had agreed to speak with him before a friend came over to check out her new apartment, she said to the court.

The two had been arguing about their relationship when Ledbetter punched her and slammed her head on the ground, police said. He also tried to stop her screaming by pushing on her throat with his forearm and stuffing a blanket in her mouth.
Then, while she was unconscious, he grabbed a pair of scissors and cut off one of her nipples. She awoke to see Ledbetter take the scissors and cut her other bre.ast, she said. She was able to break free and go to the hospital, where she learned the unborn baby was OK.
Ledbetter knew she wanted to nurse the child, the survivor said.
The victim in her statement shared tendencies of controlling, obsessive behavior from Ledbetter. She said he would not move out of her apartment when asked and constantly had to know where she was. He had even driven by her work to check her location.
“Because I was strong enough to say, ‘Enough is enough,’ I almost paid the ultimate price. I was nearly killed for what? Asking for my space?” she said in her statement to the court.
Judge Doug Hoffman shared details regarding some of Ledbetter’s past arrests, involving breaking into women’s homes, damaging their property, vandalizing their cars and using their credit cards.
Hoffman went against the plea agreement of a 30-year cap and imposed the maximum 45 years and ordered no contact with the victim and her child, saying he felt it was the most appropriate for the community and the survivors.

A Man from Nigeria jails his parents after he returned back from Italy to realized they’ve been sending him photos of a fake house

A from Nigeria based in Italy returned back to the country and jailed his parents after he discovered that the money he sent to them to build a house for him, that his parents couldn’t give account for it.
Facebook user, Nnamdi shared the story as thus;
“One of us just locked his parents up in a police cell. His 65-year-old father and 56-year-old mother slept in a police cell last night with an instruction that anyone who comes close to bail them should be locked up too.
I know what the parents did are wrong but I have been pleading with him since last week not to toe this path. There are many ways to solve issues like this.
If your parents do same to you, would you have done exactly what he did or you would have handled it differently? Hear him :
“Ben, I’m sorry I have to do what I did. You won’t understand how painful it is to be hustling here only to find out that my stupid and greedy parents were just wasting all my efforts on frivolities.
Like you already know, I have been in Italy doing all kinds of menial jobs just to put food on my table and make some savings. I have been here for six good years but I have never visited Nigeria.
I have been sending some cash to my parents to help me buy two plots of land and start building on it for all of us because we have suffered enough as a family, paying rent always.
Ben do you know that my foolish parents only bought one plot of land and nothing has been going on there apart from the initial foundation.? In fact, they started the foundation recently when they knew I will be visiting Nigeria.
They have been sending me fake pictures of my house. Bro I’m mad. I don’t know what they used all the money for. They don’t know how I managed to make these savings. Omg, I just wasted six years in Italy without anything to show for it. If I can’t trust my own parents, who then can I trust?
I will spend the remaining money I have with me on police to make sure they remained there until I go back to start a new hustle. Please, Ben if you have a trusted lady in her late thirties who can build with me, kindly hook me up to her. I can’t trust these foolish parents of mine again.”

Profit is better than Wages

Jack Ma, the richest man in China said:

If you put Bananas and Money
in front of Monkeys, monkeys will choose Bananas because monkeys
do not know that money can buy a lot of Bananas.
IN REALITY, if you offer JOB and BUSINESS to people, they would choose JOB because most people do not know that BUSINESS can bring more MONEY than wages.

Similarly, Robert Kiyosaki, author of the best selling book "RICH DAD, POOR DAD" and also a business partner of Donald Trump said:
"One of the reasons poor are poor, is because poor people are NOT TRAINED TO RECOGNIZE ENTREPRENEUR-SHIP OPPORTUNITIES.
They spend too much time in school and what they have learnt in school, is to WORK FOR WAGES instead of MONEY WORKING FOR THEM.
"Profit is better than wages, for wages can make you a living but profits can bring you a fortune."

A Final year student from the Faculty of Law killed during NANS election in Bayelsa

Magam Elvis, a final year student from the faculty of Law was shot dead on Sunday in Otuoke, Bayelsa State, during an election organized by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).
It was learned that the deceased, a delegate from University of Uyo (UNIUYO), Akwa Ibom State, was allegedly killed by fellow students believed to be cultists.
Trouble reportedly started last Saturday after the poll, which was organized to elect NANS coordinators in Zone B. The crisis snowballed into a cult supremacy war, following the arrival and accreditation of delegates.
Students sustained gunshot wounds, while others were attacked with machetes, axes and other weapons, as members of rival cults engaged themselves in a free-for-all.

The premises of Federal University, Otuoke (FUO), where the election was held, was said to have been thrown into chaos.
The situation worsened on Sunday when suspected cultists shot into a crowd of electoral delegates in a lecture hall and killed Elvis.
Police, soldiers, and operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) were deployed in the community to restore law and order.
Police Commissioner Mr. Asuquo Amba, who confirmed the incident, paraded students arrested in connection with the incident and others nabbed for robbery and cultism.
Among those arrested was Bayelsa State NANS President Mr. Perewari Benjamin, a 400-level student of Niger Delta University (NDU).
He was accused of leading seven suspected cultists to rob people.
On the murder of Elvis, the police boss said he deployed 11 patrol teams to provide security during the poll.
Prior to the election, he said the Vice Chancellor of FUO, Prof. Accra Jaja, addressed the students and appealed to them to be law-abiding.
“He said only accredited delegates would be allowed to vote.”
Amba went on:
“Later, gunshot was heard from the crowd outside the hall. Magam Elvis, male, died as a result of bullet wounds. His body was deposited at the mortuary.”
He said three suspects, Emmanuel Ebere, Obiakarije Innocent and Inbong Ben were arrested for Elvis’ murder.
The police commissioner said: “Information has it that two factions that came from UNIUYO were at war. Security is still in place. The situation is being monitored. Investigations are on.”
He alleged that the NANS president was arrested with Asari Enabong, Suoguai Bina, Ibe Ogbonna, Igbanibo Tari, Ekperi Kenneth, Kemefie Ebimene and Chukwuma Lawrence.

Amba said besides Lawrence, a student of Imo State Polytechnic, others were 200 to 500 level students of NDU.
He alleged that the suspects robbed and injured Ayo Kehinde, Jamiu Salahudeen and Nwanya Chnonso about 11 am on Isaac Boro Expressway, Yenagoa.
The police boss alleged that the victims were conveying the suspects to the NANS election in Otuoke, when the students hijacked the vehicle at gunpoint and robbed them.
He added that the suspects robbed their victims of phones, cash, and other valuables.
“They were arrested with two locally-made single-barrel pistols, two live ammunition and charms.”

A Banker in Lagos tortures and kills his 28-year-old wife by forcing ‘Otapiapia’ down her throat

A bank worker, Olaoluwa Adejo, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for the death of his 28-year-old wife, Maureen, at their home on Peluola Street, Oworonshoki, in the Bariga area of the state.
The 32-year-old Lagos indigene was alleged to have tortured his wife of five years with a belt, as well as cutting her with a machete.
Their five-year-old son, Richard, in whose presence the incident reportedly happened, told PUNCH Metro that his father also forced a local insecticide, otapiapia, down the throat of his mother.
“I am Richard Adejo. I am five years old. My daddy beat my mummy with a belt; machete her here (shows arms), machete her here (shows legs). He used the belt on her here (points at face); forced my mummy to drink otapiapia (insecticide). My daddy took my mummy away.
“My daddy said my mummy should get out of the house. My mummy said no. In the night, my dad woke my mummy up and said, ‘Mosquito is too much, let me go and buy otapiapia’. My dad forced my mummy to drink it. She shook her head. She vomited.
“My daddy slapped my mummy. My mummy did not do anything to him. My dad gave her one blow. My daddy kicked her. My dad told her to get out of the house and carry her load. Small blood came out. My dad slapped her, kicked her, machete her, blow her, and put otapiapia in her mouth and in the food,” Richard told our correspondent during an interview on Monday.
The victim’s mother, Mrs. Kate Jonathan, told PUNCH Metro that Richard had given more graphic details of the incident to family members, police authorities and officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Justice.
She explained that her daughter had packed out of her matrimonial house five days to the incident and was living with her when she decided to return to a party at the children’s school. She said she never returned alive.
She said, “I was called on the telephone by an unknown number around 4 pm on Sunday, November 12. The caller said, ‘Your daughter’s husband has killed her at Oworo’. He dropped the call.
“Around 5 pm when I got to their house, I discovered that the house was locked up. There were two boys guarding the house and they refused to open the door to me, saying the owner of the house instructed them not to open the door.

“I didn’t see my daughter or her husband. I was begging them to open the door when I saw Richard jumping up through the window. He saw me and asked the boys to open the door, but they refused.
“I broke the louvers of the window. The boy climbed a stool and said from inside, ‘my father has killed my mother and taken her away.’”
She said she reported the case at the Oworonshoki Police Station, where she was told that the suspect had already reported that his wife committed suicide by taking local insecticide, Sniper.
Jonathan said after making her statement, she left the station.
PUNCH Metro was told that Olaoluwa had already deposited the body of his wife in the Gbagada General Hospital mortuary and had allegedly gone to obtain court documents to enable him to bury her.
Our correspondent learned that he was asked to return to the police station for a certain document, which led to his arrest based on his mother-in-law’s complaint.
The suspect was said to have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba.
However, the couple’s three children were said to have been taken to a family friend, a policeman, who lived in Agric, in the Ikorodu area.
Due to the insistence of the mother-in-law, the police were said to have demanded the release of the couple’s first child, Richard, for interrogation.
In a meeting at the SCIID, Yaba, Richard was alleged to have given an account of how his mother was allegedly murdered by his father.
The police reportedly ordered the removal of the corpse from the Gbagada General Hospital mortuary to the morgue of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja.
The victim’s mother, Jonathan, who claimed to have visited the mortuary, said Maureen’s body had machete cuts and other torture marks.
She said, “My daughter, who worked as the manager of my chemical company had, about a week to the incident, complained that her husband said we would soon see her obituary.
“I sent my eldest daughter to accompany her to the house to know what happened. The man begged and said he was only joking. He said he really loved his wife. I insisted that she pack out of the house.
“She was in my house for three days before she said she wanted to return home because her children’s school would be having a cultural party. She left and went to the party with her husband on Saturday. It was that night that she was brutalized and killed by the husband. From what we saw in the mortuary, she had blood in her nostrils and deep cuts in her hands and legs.”
The victim’s mother asked that Maureen’s three children, namely, Richard, five; Henry, three; and Omowunmi, six months, be released to her.
The policeman with the couple’s two children, Ajisafe, said he believed Olaoluwa did not kill his wife.
He explained that the suspect’s aged mother handed over the children to him for safekeeping.
The 83-year-old mother of the suspect, Florence Adejo, also denied that her son murdered Maureen.
She said, “He came to knock on the door of my house late that night. He fell on the ground and started weeping and lamenting that his wife had destroyed him. A crowd gathered in front of the house where I am the landlady. They tried to console him. He said his wife took Sniper. He said he thought it was a joke until their son, Richard, went to bring the container of the insecticide.
“She was taken to a private hospital where she was initially rejected before she was taken to the general hospital where she died. I was told her mother sells the insecticide and she brought it home for mosquitoes. Why she decided to drink it is what is beyond my understanding. My son said they didn’t have any disagreement between them and she was not mentally ill.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chike Oti, said investigations were ongoing into the incident.
He said, “The man came to report that his wife committed suicide. The DPO put some questions to him. We thought we should investigate further to know what really happened because there are some doubts we need to clear on the matter. The police are not accepting the claim of suicide hook, line, and sinker. The matter is at the SCIID and investigations are ongoing.”

In Akwa-Ibom State Parents sell their three sons for N50,000 each

A 40-year-old man by name Magnus Nsikak, from Akwa Ibom State, has made himself an unworthy stone-hearted parent with no conscious.
According to Daily Sun, the suspect was alleged to have conspired with his 28-year-old wife, Ruth, to sell their three sons, 3-day-old Samuel, 5-year-old Ubong and 10-year-old Ekpo in Ikot-Abaji Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, to a trafficker in Aba, Abia State, through a nurse in the city.
It was learned that Ruth vehemently denied any knowledge of the evil deed, saying that she was actually deceived by her husband about the true status of the children, who she had been led to believe were being cared for by a member of their extended family in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
The couple is now in the custody of the Family Support Unit of the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Akwa Ibom State Police Command, where they are being interrogated.
It was gathered further from the Commissioner of Police, Zubairu Muazu, the ongoing investigation has yielded a positive result as the eldest son, Ekpo has been recovered while efforts are being intensified by detectives to track down and recover the other two.
Muazu disclosed that the cookie began to crumble when the younger brother of Ruth became curious about the sudden absence of the children of his sister.
He asked the brother-in-law, Magnus, about them and got a less-than-satisfactory answer from him. His further probe led to an altercation between them. Magnus later confessed his evil deed. Ruth’s brother was incensed by the horrific thing he heard and a fight broke out between him and Magnus. He was said to have beaten his in-law black and blue.
Ruth rushed to the Mkpat Enin Police Station to file a complaint against her brother on October 23, 2017.
In the course of questioning to ascertain the facts, Muazu explained that the truth tumbled out and she was detained. Her husband was also arrested and the case was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Uyo, Akwa State capital, from where the matter was handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Section of the SCID on November 2, 2017.
Then November 9, Magnus led detectives to Aba, Abia State, to arrest the nurse, Stella Uchendu, 40, who arranged the illegal deal. She, in turn, took detectives to the home of Joy Ikechukwu, where Ekpo was recovered.
Muazu added that police detectives also arrested another suspect, Eucharia Daniel, who bought the three-day-old baby for N300,000 naira from Uchendu. He said that Uchendu passed on the baby to Joy Ikechukwu, who resold the newborn child to Judith Solomon Charles, for N500,000.

Sunday Sun further learned that on the day that police detectives brought Joy to her home, Judith was said to have slumped in shock. Detectives quickly rushed her to a hospital, where she died.On what could have led him into the evil deed, Magnus told Sunday Sun that he was beset by adversity. His words: “My first wife and I had six children. She had a mental problem and later died. Then I got married to Ruth in 2007 and we had four children. This thing happened when I had a financial problem. I sold my three sons and left our daughter, Favour, who is five years old. I sold each of them for N50,000 to Stella Uchendu.
“Whenever my wife’s uncle and other people asked me about the children, I always told them that I took the children to people who will help them. Later I confessed to my wife’s uncle that I had sold the three children. That was when he fought with me and beat me very well before neighbours rescued me. My wife reported to the police.”
Magnus who hails from Ikot-Abasi Local Government Area, Akwa-Ibom, added that his wife knew that he was selling the children. After selling the three-day-old baby, he gave her N20, 000 naira. The baby which was bought by Judith is yet to be recovered.
In her own account, Ruth, the wife, confirmed that she married Magnus in 2007, but denied any complicity in the sales of the couple’s children.
She said: “My husband didn’t tell me that he sold our three sons. I gave birth to four children – three sons and a girl, Favour, who is five years old. My husband only told me that he took the three children to his uncle in Port Harcourt to train them. One day, he dialed a number and gave the phone to me to speak with his sister, who he said was taking care of my three children.
“I remember that in September, this year, after I gave birth to a baby boy in the church, on a Thursday, my husband took the baby from me on Sunday of that weekend and sold it. My husband and the nurse deceived me by saying that the baby and I tested positive for HIV and so the baby was taken away. Later my husband gave me N20,000 to eat food and recover from the pregnancy,” she stated.

Controversial Media Personality Daddy Freeze shares Photo of four snakes killed by his mother, and says it’s not spiritual (Photo)

Daddy Freeze just shared a photo shows four snakes that were killed by his mother in her bathroom, he added that the snakes weren’t spiritual.
He wrote:
My mum is just a #superhero! She killed 4 snakes in her bathtub! If she were from here, she probably would have whipped out her anointing oil and attributed this to the devil, or perhaps imagine it’s something ‘spiritual’, forgetting that they cleared a whole forest before construction.
This is not to say things of the spiritual don’t exist, however, if your mind has been conditioned to see the ‘spiritual’ in every explainable natural phenomenon, you find your self-embarking upon an endless quest of chasing shadows! ~FRZ

Toke Makinwa is being warn by Children of Billionaire Festus Fadeyi “Leave our father alone”

Toke Makinwa, On-Air-Personality has been accused by billionaire Festus Fadeyi’s children of being in a romantic relationship with their father, a relationship that has been followed by a bitter reaction by the billionaire’s children.
Here’s capitalng’s report of the face-off between Toke Makinwa and Billionaire Festus Fadeyi’s kids:
“You can tell what effect billionaire, Festus Fadeyi’s romance with OAP, Toke Makinwa, has on his family by his children’s unfathomable misery and bitter reaction to their relationship. Toke arouses despise from Fadeyi’s children.
That is why they desperately seek her exit from their father’s life. Like angry runts seeking to fall a veteran gladiator, Fadeyi’s children tirelessly engage in never-ending plots to extricate their dear father from the perceived web of Toke’s allure.
At first, their fears were deemed unfounded by family friends, close and distant relatives, but ever since their father completed his sprawling mansion in Ikoyi, the children have become very worried about the possibility of seeing Toke hop in the master bedroom with their father.
Fadeyi’s children are very angry with the way he splurges on his love interest, Toke. They believe he is squandering too much money on her at a time he is heavily indebted to Skye Bank.

Recall that the well-heeled founder and CEO of Pan Ocean Corporation, an indigenous independent oil firm, acquired a multi-billion naira loan from Skye Bank. His indebtedness to the bank is estimated at N196 billion a few months ago.
Notwithstanding, Fadeyi spends extravagantly on Toke. For instance, he allegedly bought her a brand new Range Rover 2016 model worth over N50 million. He is also responsible for her acquisition of top of the line and very expensive designer bags, shoes and apparels. From Louboutin, Bottega, Chanel, Louis Vuitton to Hermes among others, Fadeyi spoils Toke silly with the most pricey ware.
Thus the world’s most expensive designer brands are mere names on Toke’s list. The popular social media big girl considers Selfridges and Harrods as ordinary shopping points at the moment. Whenever she visits London, United Kingdom (UK) via business class or first class flights paid for by Fadeyi, she spares no expenses at the city’s posh shopping points.
It is very interesting to note that Fadeyi foots such outrageous bills for Toke while he wallows in loan debt to his bank. What Fadeyi’s children find alarming, however, is Toke’s continual neglect of her lover’s precarious financial situation.
Consequently, they have declared war on her, warning her to leave their father alone. Frightened by the undisguised animosity, Toke has resorted to extreme measures to avoid their wrath or unpalatable encounters with them. For instance, she now tries to steal around town incognito by covering her vehicle’s number plate with leather.”
