DRUG ABUSE , DESTROYER OF FUTURE 

I have this fear and prediction, considering the level of drug abuse among our youths today.  I was at the NDLEA office and met so many of them, youths of bright future already having brain disorder.

MY PREDICTION..... In ten years time, if nothing serious, urgent and deliberate is done about this terrible trend now, the number of well dressed MAD MEN and WOMEN that would be roaming our streets will be enormous and monumental. And not just MAD MEN/WOMEN but violent ones. It will interest you to know that , in those days anybody taken to drugs were drop-out ,thugs and good for nothing children  but unfortunate thing nowadays is that most drug addicts are now brilliant undergraduates with high tendency to get married and hold positions in our society  but with no "SANITY". If you have observed the trend in marital lives of our young ones nowadays, they no longer divorce themselves nor get separated...."they kill one another"  . It is a direct function  of drug abuse in most cases.

You will hear : Husband stabbed wife to death, wife arranged murder of her husband.   If we should allow this trend to continue and act indifferent , anybody can be a victim as parent. God save our soul.

Infact , part of my suggestion to pre-marital investigation is that,  apart from genotype test, we should endeavor to check effects of drugs in their blood. What am saying is so real that most children from noble and marriage-able  homes are already enmeshed in drug abuse.

Sure we all know the implication of this. Our safety and anticipated future happy ending would be threatened . Hence, Its our collective responsibility to ensure drug abuse free society.

Let us change the future of these youths and that of our society for better. No home seems to be immune against this scourge. Join us in this powerful campaign against DRUG ABUSE. It is stealing away the future of our society. The time to act is now. Devil is happy because drug had become a potent weapon in his hand against our future. As for me and my team, we shall not rest, neither shall we shirk from taking responsibility for our generation and generations unborn. We will continue to do everything possible, partner with any noble cause and continue to speak against this devilish scourge that is stealing our future. We shall also continue to encourage alternative means of livelihood in form of training on personal leadership and development, entrepreneurship and employability trainings.
