Asisat Oshoala, Super Falcons player who won the African Female Footballer Award at CAF Awards this year, has put a smile on the faces of her parents and siblings with her new gift.

The Super Falcons player bought her parents a mansion in Costain area of Lagos, and she captioned the photos she shared;

Small girl Big God πŸ™πŸΎ…Alhamdulilah, parent first.

Nigerian female footballer Asisat Oshoala is among many Nigerian football stars who started their football careers from the streets before making it to the top. Born on October 9, 1994 in Ikorodu, Lagos state, Asisat started her football career on the street of Lagos before joining Rivers Angels where she made her name. Her superb performances for the Super Falcons of Nigeria caught the attention of Liverpool Ladies who signed her in 2015.

She later joined Arsenal ladies in January 2016 and excelled before she left and joined Chinese club Dalian Quanjian F.C on February 10, 2017 where she currently plays. Today, history can bare witness that Asisat Oshoala is the best African female footballer after winning the award on January 4 in Ghana. Asisat who had won the award two times before however broke down into tears after she was decorated as the best female footballer in Africa. Many were wondering the rationale behind Oshoala’s decision to have been emotional in Ghana, but the player shared a video of her father who was also in tears when he saw his daughter being named African best. She captioned the video;

So my sisters just sent me this πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚….For Y’all asking why i’m so emotional, think my Dad is more emotional πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚…. Alhamdulilah for Almighty Allah’s blessing. Myself and my family are forever grateful πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ…. #FathersLove ❤️πŸ†πŸ†

The Super Falcons star beat Gabrielle Onguene of Cameroon and Chrestina Kgatlana South Africa to the award. She was named Africa’s best in 2014 but roared back to win the much coveted award in 2016 and now 2017.
