Lagos Ibadan expressway is in partial lockdown since 6.00am, Sunday, 19th of August.
There’s an accident involving a tanker and a lorry causing the tanker spilling Its content believed to be fuel on the Long Bridge after the popular Kara market, inward Ibadan.
Lagos State Emergency Management Agency(LASEMA) and other rescue units are presently at the scene.
LASEMA boss, Mr Adesina Tiamiyu said “Our men are there trying to ensure we dont have fire incident as a result of this incident. The Lagos Fire Service has been there trying to flush the petrol with chemicals and water to reduce the capacity to wreck havoc. We are on top of it”.
Mr Adesina said a section of the road was shut down and traffic diverted.
