Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said that for the 2019 presidential election, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, will remain the running mate of President Buhari.
Garba Shehu revealed this when he spoke with state house correspondents yesterday August 13th.
”Decisive victories in senatorial and state assembly elections in Katsina, Bauchi, Kogi and states were an indication that the Buhari/Osinbajo presidential ticket that won the 2015 election will ensure an encore in 2019,” he said.
President Buhari in December 2014, picked Professor Yemi Osinbajo as his running mate for the 2015 presidential election which they won. And from all indications they would be going as a team in the 2019 election on the APC presidential ticket.
