The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris, are currently in a closed door a meeting.
The meeting which is being held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the nation’s capital, is likely to be connected to the security situation at the National Assembly.
Security officials had earlier today stormed the premises of the National Assembly barricading the entrance to the complex.
Lawmakers and members of staff of the National Assembly were not allowed entrance to the premises.
Journalists were also barred from entering the complex as a result of what the DSS allegedly said is an order “from above.”
Former DSS Boss, Lawal Musa Daura was also at the meeting with the acting President
