Adekunle Ajasin University

Nigeria.
Greetings sirs,
It is lamentably pitiable that I’m writing this with tears in my eyes and with a sorrow-filled mind.
I Eniolorunopa_Collins a 400l student of Agricultural Extension, hereby write to inform you that I’m done with education at this stage the school fee has gone outrageously.
Let me quickly hark back to how I do pay for the fee then, My father(a retired civil servant) & My mother(on and off trader) has paid for my school fee just once ever since I’ve started schooling. My sister and I struggled to pay twice and now that I’m almost done schooling it’s so melancholy that I just have to drop out as there is no hope on this earth to pay for that exorbitant amount twice before I become a graduate.
I’m not laying emphasis on this to seek help to further my education but to get you informed how I made it thus far, where I come from? *From the Gutter*(that area where meeting up with 3square meals is a sin, that area where you have to stay up late at night and wake up very early every morning to get going with the daily struggle, that area where laughter is wild and rare).
Thanks for the knowledge you’ve imparted to me during my stay in AAUA as it will really help me to be my own boss in agribusiness.
If there is one way you could help me, just give me the amount worth paying for the exorbitant fee twice then I start up with it *NOT TO PAY FOR THE SCHOOL FEE* But to project into the future.
I’m so sure many of my *faculty* and *departmental mates* are also on the verge of quitting because that amount is just too *enormous* and *it is poisonous* We really can’t afford it; *we are so poor and we can’t keep up*
God be with you till we meet again!!!
*GOODBYE* *(O di igba kan na!!!)*
YOUR Ex-student,

“As we approach the election year, please continue to pray that all will be well with our country. People are getting desperate to ensure that their desires, often ill-motivated, are actualised. But by the prayers of spiritual fathers like you, it will be well with the country,” Adesina said.
He further said that God is the superior solution to all challenges and that no man has the solution to all the happenings around him. Nigerian Rapper Ill Bliss Reveals – How I Coped For Eight Years in Marriage Without a Child

Ill Bliss has disclosed on how he was able to stay for eight years without the cry of a child in his home. He spoke about this after he welcomed his new daughter.
Speaking with Saturday Beat, he described himself as a ‘testimony’. He said that the eight years of waiting for a child was one of his turbulent periods for him and his spouse.
“It was the most trying time of our lives as a couple, but we never had doubts about having a baby. We were only concerned about when we would have the baby. We waited, kept praying and stayed focused.
I don’t know where I got the strength from, to be honest. I see couples that are under pressure to have a child after six months of marriage and they are worried. I waited for eight years and some months. My daughter turned nine months old this week.
It is awesome and amazing to watch her grow. I am a testimony of God’s goodness. If God could do it for me after eight years, he can do it for anyone looking for a child. The experience brought me closer to God,” he said.

He also stated that he was so fortunate that he didn’t get any pressure from his parents and in-laws but that it always occured to him that he had no child.
“I am very lucky with the kind of parents and in-laws I have. They all supported us and kept praying for us. They kept advising us never to panic, that the kids were coming, so there was no pressure from their side.
Naturally, as a person, I sometimes fell under that pressure that I was not a father yet but a lot of people did not even know my situation because I was always around children. I have relatives who have kids and I was always playing with their children because we are one big happy family. Everybody just kept praying till it happened. Nobody knew I did not have a child for eight years.”

Nigerian Comedian Seyi Law – “I suffered from inferiority complex, my daughter won’t”

Seyi Law, who performed on stage together with his daughter Tiwaloluwa, in the recent show he had in Dublin has disclosed that she will not suffer from inferiority complex just like he did.
The comedian and his daughter were able to amuse the audience in their performance and it seems like Seyi is already preparing her with some experience for the show business.
From the clip, the happy father was seen asking his daughter numerous questions ranging from the name of her country, to the name of the governor of Lagos State, and his daughter answered correctly. This triggered hearty cheers from the audience at the event.

This is the first time Seyi Law would be seen performing together with his daughter on stage and in a chat with Saturday Beats, he disclosed that the questions he asked his daughter were not rehearsed.
He said:
“No, we did not rehearse before I brought her on stage. It was only the audience that was shocked by her brilliant responses, I was not. She has been taught a lot from school and those were part of what she was taught. I have always put her in front of the camera and so she didn’t have stage fright. I try as much as possible to build her confidence as I suffered serious inferiority complex growing up.”
Speaking of how he was able to eliminate inferiority complex from himself, he said,
“I had to study more and learn to get involved in discussions more intelligently. I would say my intelligence helped me.”
The show that was displayed by Seyi Law and his daughter, some Nigerians wasn’t pleased with it. They went to social media to condemn him for exposing the young daughter.
While responding to the critics, Seyi Law said:
“It is their problem because I didn’t help their parents train them, so they should allow me to train mine. When I need their opinions I would ask. For now, it is not needed.”

Sunday Oliseh Comes Out Victorious in Legal fight Against Fortuna Sittard in KNVB Tribunal

Sunday Oliseh who was a one-time Ex-Nigerian Super Eagles and coach has been free by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) court after they got to know that the Dutch Club Fortuna Sittard was guilty of ‘Black Money Payment‘ as they claimed.
The court has ordered that Sunday Oliseh should be compensated with all his necessary gratuities and he has the right to remain in the club as the Fortuna Sittard’s manager till when his contract expires in May 2018.

Sunday Oliseh was suspended by Fortuna Sittard and they blamed him for insubordination but Oliseh also said that the Dutch club wanted him to be part of something devious which he rejected.
“Black money payment’ is an unacceptable payment for a job done in which tax is not paid to the government and it is a guilty offense in the Netherlands.
The Ex-Super Eagle’s captain went to social media to express his delight:
“Dutch court finds Fortuna Sittard guilty for not being a good employer to Sunday Oliseh and sanctions Fortuna. Most importantly The Knvb Court stated that Oliseh has not acted as a bad employee!” Oliseh wrote on Twitter.
“Consequentially, negating false claims made by Fortuna. God is great!\
“The court further sanctions Fortuna Sittard to compensate me (Oliseh) financially immediately.
“I am obliged to stay as a Fortuna employee until the month of May 2018. Thanks, 2 all my well-wishers for your valued support all through this injustice. Thankful to God 4 his blessings!”
Oliseh was however hated by some individuals for taking such action against his employer. A commentator on a Nigerian forum said he ought to have settled the issue amicably with the club as his action would act as an impediment for him to secure another job at any top flight club in Europe.
The comment reads:
“Anyway, Congrats on the legal victory BUT… good luck finding another coaching job in Europe, Asia, and Americas.
You created a bad impression/image (regardless of the circumstance) of yourself, the moment you go legal with your employers. It’s a Capitalist world… Hire /fire at will or discretion, even contracts are NOT restricted within this confinement.
Go ask all the top, top European coaches (Mourinho, Capello, et al…). Your best bet is to have negotiated a lucrative term in the contract agreement so it won’t get to this stage.
Please, it’s NOT about race else, he won’t have gotten the job in the first place.
Remember, Talent will ONLY take you this far… Attitude/Character/Personality will take you very, very far!

He recalled the incident by the herdsmen,
“My children and I were plucking pepper from one of my farms. We usually do this together. After I finished with the pepper, I went to another section to harvest yam.
“I had barely harvested four tubers of yam when we saw some Fulani herdsmen entering our farm. Three of the herdsmen were with their cows, scattering the ridges. My son attempted to chase them, but one of the herdsmen brought out a cutlass and went after him.
“He hit my son twice but didn’t injure him. I went after him and suddenly, he turned towards me and tried to cut off my neck with the cutlass. I used my hand to defend myself and that was when it was chopped off.”

According to Punch, Mr. Mathias Odey said he had been depending on friends that are kind-hearted to address his medical condition.

“When this incident happened, there were promises that the government would take care of my hospital bills and see to it that I get treated, but nothing of such has happened.
“I have been depending on the goodwill of family members. I have spent the last four months in and out of hospitals both in Calabar and Ogoja Local Government Area,” he lamented.
The father of seven children has wondered what would now become of him because his hand which is the main tool for farming has been cut off by the heartless herdsmen.
