IDP Children Now Feeding On Onion Leaves Over Hunger

Internally Displaced Persons, IDP Children who live in a camp in the outskirts of Bauchi, are now feeding on onion leaves over hunger.  News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondents who visited the camp located about two km from Rindebin community in Bauchi Local Government Area, reported that the children between the ages of three and five, looked pitiful as they consume the leaves.Parents of the IDP children feeding on onion leaves over hunger, said they had to ‘ improvise’ ways of tackling hunger with onion leaves as it is nutritious and would also protect their children from hunger and diseases.

“Both adults and children suffer from hunger; this has resulted in forcing us to eat raw onion leaves from sellers that come into the camp. Rainy season is about to set in and another fear is the outbreak of childhood diseases. Because for the past year, our children were not immunised and there are no water, sanitation and hygiene facilities.“We defecate in the bush and the rainwater will soon wash our faeces back to the stream, where we source for water to drink,” one of the parents said.

It was further observed that children under two years in the camp, were showing symptoms and signs of malnutrition.

I Killed My Wife Because She Planned To Remarry After My Death

A Nigerian man who was arrested by the Niger State Police Command after he killed his wife, has disclosed that he committed the said act because she planned to re-marry after his death. The suspect identified as Uwani Danjuma, reportedly killed his wife with a cutlass in Uddu, Niger. According to him, his wife had told him, when he was sick, weeks earlier, that if he dies, she will re-marry another man. The man who killed his wife while she was sleeping and further disclosed that he did it because she planned to re-marry after his death, said;

“I can’t imagine my own wife telling me that if I died, she will remarry. I lost my temper and inflicted injuries on her neck with matchete which led to her death.I am not regretting killing her since she wanted me to die. I killed her so that she will not remarry. She should not have said that to my hearing, there is power in the spoken words; so let her go. Allah will send her to hell fire for that unguarded comment.”

How sex keeps marriages alive

“Sex is the MAIN thing that keeps married couples together when the going gets tough”…these words were uttered by a married 40 year old man.

Sex, GOOD sex is one of the most powerful tools in the world. It has ruined kings.  it makes women weak too because believe it or not, women love sex more than men(when it’s done right). It is extremely difficult for any woman to leave a relationship where the sex is good. I’ll give you a scenario based on a real person, she is a manager in a top company. She makes good money which enables her to live in a fancy house, drive a nice car…you know, all these material things that make people feel like they are ‘successful’. Anyway, her man, is quite the opposite. He doesn’t work. She maintains him.  she has no issue with it because he is good in bed. Actually, she is more like his slave. She does anything and everything he asks her to.

For men, their pleasure is highly dependent on the satisfaction they give the woman. That is why if a man has sex for 2 hours (Ok is it possible to be this long? I was just exaggerating. But really , is it?)..anyway I was saying, if a man, a good lover, has sex for 2 hours and he does not cum he will be OK as long as his lady is satisfied. The ego of a man makes him more proud about satisfying rather than being satisfied.

Now, much as sex is very important there are people who will marry a ‘less capable lover’ because marriage is about a lot more than sex. Like if the great lover is not what one pictures in a life partner: not ambitious enough, not kind…they make pick the less capable one. But still sex remains a very important department in marriage and this person might occasionally go looking for ‘the number 1 performer’ to give them a good time. This is the ugly truth.

So how do we make our relationship strong and remain faithful using something more powerful than good sex? Well, there’s no certain answer for this, but for a long time religion has helped many people to stay faithful. Religion restricts unfaithful activity with the threat of hell. Other than that, churches have couple counselling and mentors who often guide people to remain in the path of God. Faith and practice of religious teachings helps many couples maintain strong relationships.

After heart trick of defeats- Middlesbrough takes drastic decision on Mikel Obi- See Details

John Mikel Obi and his Middlesbrough teammates were given Sunday as a rest day to clear their heads after they were beaten 3-1 by Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

The hosts went ahead in the 34th minute from the penalty spot converted by Matt Grimes and Wayne Routledge made it 2-0 to the Swans four minutes later, as Boro struggled to keep their shape.

Boro came out more determined in the second half with intent to salvage something from the game in order to keep their championship play-off ambition alive rather it was Connor Roberts who added the 3rd goal for Swansea after collecting a perfect pass from Bersant Celina who had also set up Routledge’s goal.

However, Boro grabbed a consolation goal in the 81st minute through George Saville.

Boro has now lost six games in a row including a loss against Bristol City, Norwich City, Aston Villa Preston North End and Brentford, conceding 9 goals and scoring two in the process.

The Tony Pulis side is 8th on the Championship log with 58 points in 40 matches played, 26 points below table toppers Norwich.

After the long trip back from Wales on Saturday night, Middlesbrough’s players were given the option as to whether or not they wanted to train at Rockliffe on Sunday.

A day off was scheduled, with manager Tony Pulis urging the players to “clear their heads” after the defeat at the Liberty Stadium, Boro’s sixth consecutive defeat.

But the manager revealed that a handful of the players had made it known to him that they wanted to go into Rockliffe for a light warm-down session before attention turns to the trip to struggling Bolton on Tuesday night.

Boro flew back to Teesside after the game on Saturday night and the mood in the camp was bound to have been subdued after a disappointing performance and result in Wales.

“They’ve got to pick themselves up, we’ve had a good chat about it,” said the manager afterwards, before revealing how he planned to prepare for the trip to Bolton.

“They’ll have a day off on Sunday to clear their heads. It’s an optional day for them, four or five want to come in and do a little bit but I’ve always been one of them, at this stage of the season, they’re fit and ready to go. I think it’s more a mental thing.

“Having played so well against Bristol City and to not get anything, it’s that mental scar that goes into next game. They’ve done that at Villa and here where they’ve not performed to the level they’re capable of. They’ve got to be bigger and better.”
