"We are football players so we know we can have a lot of injuries. I’ve had one before (a long injury), but now it’s OK.

"For my first game, my body felt good and my knee. I played and I enjoyed it."

"You cannot imagine how I enjoyed these 10 days with these guys," said a thrilled Guardiola after the match. "The young players have desire, they are starving to become football players.

“They are 17, 18, 19 years old. We played with just one or two pros in the first team and we did what we have done in spite of the results. It was so happy for me with the way they played.
“I give credit that we were 2-0 down and never got down. It’s not easy to have high intensity in this humidity but I am so satisfied. We gave a solid 90 minutes.”

"I don't know. It depends on the club. For me, it is a pleasure to have Courtois, to have Willian, to have Hazard, but it doesn't depend on me. We have to wait.
"I have confidence. Face to face? At the end of the month. Because they will arrive at Cobham at the end of the month."

“I love this philosophy. We play high, with a lot of possession of the ball in a technical way. He’s trying to help us every single day, double sessions, to learn quickly his philosophy.
"Play from the back, build from the back, try to help the guys, try to be in line. A new philosophy always takes time. We are trying to learn quickly.”
