President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday has assured Nigerians in his
statement that the rising attacks on communities by the Fulani herdsmen
will soon be well taken care of control by security forces that have
been deployed to the vulnerable areas across the country.
The National Economic Council (NEC) set up a committee last week to be headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to put a stop to the killings by killer herdsmen in the country.
Suspected killer herdsmen have killed over 200 people across the country this year alone.
Femi Adesina, who is the special adviser to the President on media and Publicity in his statement made the remarks when he received the board of directors of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group at the presidential villa yesterday.
