Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea claims that he is in the dark about whether he will join Real Madrid.
De Gea has long been linked with a move to Madrid and their new manager Julen Lopetegui obviously knows him well from Spain duty.
He was of course asked about his future while preparing for the World Cup.
“I don’t think Florentino Pérez has my number,” he told Cadena COPE. “I don’t know if I’ll be the goalkeeper at Real Madrid, what I do know is that I’m very happy in Manchester.
“What I want is to win titles, like every other player.
“There’s no lacking in winning titles there, we have to improve, we are a big club, we are not here to take second place. We have to improve and make this club great.”
If he does move, then it will be for an awful lot of money as the price of goalkeepers is finally matching their importance.
