Shocker: Zidane Gets Qatar’s National Team Job, Days After Quitting Real Madrid

After a bizzare announcement by Zinedine Zidane, quitting his job some days ago as Real Madrid manager. He has shocked the world again after signing a $50Million per annum deal with the Qatari national team.

A serial success with the Los Blancos, winning the Champions League three times on a trot and a La Liga trophy amidst his piquant trophy cabinet.

Zidane said on his last Press Conference for Real Madrid that he called it quits because he doesn’t have an idea of how to move the team forward again. That may be true but what occurred few days after that announcement suggests much more.

Qatar will be hosting the 2022 World Cup with fully air-conditioned stadiums and has also stepped their preparation bid up, four years before hosting the whole world with the acquisition of arguably the most successful manager in Europe in the last few years.

Zidane is expected to bring great development to Qatari football through his name that has attained a widespread and global recognition and will be responsible for the development of its players over the course of his contract.
