Some residents of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja took to Twitter to report earth tremors they have been experiencing in recent times. According to their tweets, their homes have experienced vibrations from the grounds. They fear that an earthquake is about to happen in the FCT.
However, the FCT Emergency Management Agency in a statement released, says there is no cause for alarm as the earth is only reacting to stress from mining activities in some parts of the territory.
Residents of some parts of Abuja experienced the tremor this morning again.
