MC Oluomo weeps as thousands storm his house for Thanksgiving (Video)

It was a beehive of activities on Thursday in Ejigbo, Lagos when a chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, held a thanksgiving/prayer service to mark his survival of what could have led to his death a few weeks ago.

MC Oluomo travelled to the US after being discharged from Eko hospital following an attack on him at an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Ikeja on January 8 where he was stabbed in the neck and stomach.

The NURTW boss returned to Lagos on Wednesday January 30, after been declared fit by his doctors.
A special thanksgiving service held in his honour on Thursday at his residence in Ejigbo, Lagos.
Thousands of friends, colleagues, followers and many celebrities were present to pray with MC Oluomo who was re-named ‘Okuti’ at the service which had many Islamic clerics in attendance.

The show of love was quite overwhelming for MC who later wept at the thousands of guests who refused leaving his house after the ceremony.

Among early callers were Nollywood Yoruba actors including Liz Dasilva.
