A Mentally Impaired Man Falls Down and Die During Church deliverance in Delta

An insane man whose name is Monday Edejere has passed away in a church in Evwreni community, in the Ughelli North council area of Delta State.
Monday Edejere was an ex-member of the Ogor vigilance group,
The church’s founder, who is known as Prophet Moses Uregbu, was praying for him when he fell down and died instantly on Monday.
Punch newspaper reports that a source said the victim, who was being taken by his relatives to the prophet for spiritual healing, flogged the madman during the prayers.
The prophet and some members of the church struggled to bring the man back to life but their effort went abortive.
Chief Victor Ohare, The President-General of Evwerni community, said the case was reported at the Police ‘A’ Division, Ughelli.
“We don’t know if he was flogged by the prophet,” he added.
The prophet has been detained. This was confirmed by Andrew Aniamaka the Delta state Police Public Relations Officer.
Andrew Aniamaka said:
“One Micheal Edejere reported that on February 25, 2018, he took his sick brother, Monday Edejere, to Pastor Moses Uregbu for healing, but that on April 2, information got to the family that Monday had died.
The family is claiming that the young man died because of the injuries on his body. Investigation is ongoing.”
This won’t be the first time a mentally handicapped person is being taken to Nigerian pastors by their families for deliverance ended up in dead.
Two madmen of same parents died while they were receiving prayers in a prayer ministry at Mile 50, Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital.
Daily Sun reports that three siblings, who were insane, were taken to the ministry for deliverance by one of their brothers known as Chinedu. Chinedu felt the prayers were not enough to heal his brothers and look for another prophet that is very powerful outside the church to come and pray for them.
According to an eyewitness that was there, the prophet prayed and administered a substance that was suspected to be ‘anointing oil’ on the three madmen and left them. Surprisingly, two out of the three madmen men died the next morning.
The other time, a pastor was almost beaten up by a madman he was trying to deliver from the spirit of insanity by force.
In the video that went viral on social media, the unidentified pastor could be seen forcefully trying to deliver the insane man as people watched hilariously.
The drama got intense when the madman follows another route only for the pastor to wrestle him to the floor shouting ‘ the blood of Jesus’ at him.
