There was a drama that happened yesterday, at 8th fidau prayers for
the late Buba Jubril Deputy Majority Leader of the House of
Representatives, in Lokoja, Kogi State.
Operatives of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, has failed to detain Dino Melaye, the senator that is representing Kogi West currently.

The Police had a few days ago, announced the senator wanted over his
implication in handing over illegal ammunition to some abductors who
claimed to be his thugs.
Vanguard newspaper has reported that the SARS’ operatives had entered Kabawa Primary School, Lokoja, venue of the fidau prayers, in efforts to detain Senator Melaye but were amazed as local vigilante men surrounded him and made it difficult for the SARS operatives to get close to him.
Sen. Dino Melaye Melaye who stole the show by raising two fingers in the air on the occasion, to acknowledge cheers from the crowd who hailed him with a loud ovation.
The SARS’ operatives, who later besieged Chief Rasaq Kutepa’s House
at the GRA, where the reception was held, were all disappointed to see
Dino in the convoy of the Senate President leaving for the late Buba’s
House from where they left for Obajana airstrip for a flight to Kastina.

vigilante forming a ring around him into the waiting vehicle of the
Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
