Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho laughed off reports that he has spoken to Zinedine Zidane about speculation the Frenchman will replace him at Old Trafford.
Reports on Sunday night claimed Zidane had called Mourinho to make clear that, though United had been in touch about his availability, he was not plotting behind his back to take change.
Mourinho is under huge pressure at Old Trafford and a bad result against Valencia on Tuesday night will only strengthen the calls for him to be sacked.
Mourinho was asked about the reports today but didn’t seem too bothered and turned the tables on the press by calling out the Sun journalist that had written the story.

‘Ask the guy behind you, he wrote the story,’ said Mourinho.
‘He put a bug on my phone so why don’t you ask him.’
Nevertheless, Mourinho knows his position is under increasing strain and he refused to confirm or deny if he had spoken to Ed Woodward since the defeat against the Hammers.
United host Valencia at Old Trafford on Tuesday, hoping to build on their victory against Young Boys on matchday one.
