Kizz Daniel Sacks Manager, Tumi Lawrence – After ‘Slap Incident’ Involving Davido
Afro-pop star Kizz Daniel appears to have wielded the big stick on his manager, Tumi Lawrence, after a statement on Wednesday appeared to have confirmed the appointment of a new management for his record label, Fly Boy Inc.
Lawrence’s dismissal comes on the back of a controversy over an alleged assault on him by singer Davido.
Lawrence had alleged that the DMW boss slapped and also spilled drink over him at his concert in December 2018 – an allegation that Davido denied vehemently.
However, Daniel, who remained quiet on the incident with Davido, has reshuffled his management, in what appears to have decided the fate of Lawrence.
In a statement released yesterday on theInstagram page of his Fly Boy Inc record label, the singer stated that the label is now represented by Rebecca Junaid and Ogaga Sakpaide as the new management and new public relations personnel respectively.
It reads: “Fly Boy Inc is using this medium to make certain points clear to the public;
“Flyboy Inc is not responsible for any statement issued by any party, therefore please disregard any unverified stories making the rounds on social media, blogs and other news outlets.
“Fly Boy Inc holds other artistes, staff and industry personnel in high regard.
“Fly Boy Inc and Kizz Daniel are under new management led by Rebecca Junaid (@Flyboytexh) and the public relations personnel is Ogaga Sakpaide (@ogagus).
“Thanks for flying with us and we wish everyone a prosperous 2019 filled with No Bad Songz.”
