Engaging music artistes for political campaigns has proven to be more instrumental to the victory of politicians during election in Nigeria these days.
In the just concluded presidential election,Small Doctor was one of the artistes instrumental in APC‘s campaign activities while Davido was the major headliner of many PDP campaign rallies.
Meanwhile, on two separate occasionsDavido‘s involvement with PDP has only been pulling crowd to PDP’s campaign grounds but not yielding any positive result for the at polling units.
He campaigned heavily for his uncle,Ademola Adeleke in Osun State during his Governorship race last year. One would have thought his status in the music industry will help but Nah!!
It will not be nice to say PDP made the same mistake twice by involving him inAtiku‘s presidential race but just to state the obvious, all those tweets and stage appearance didn’t count in the end.
However, APC was strategic in the use ofSmall Doctor, he performed only at their major rallies and was also made to do a song for them.
Without having to make more enemies for himself, Small Doctor supported APClowkey on Social Media, he helped them get votes from the streets, Okada riders, market men, women and the likes.
