Paul Pogba ready to leave Manchester United if the club does not meet THIS personal demand

Paul Pogba has set a target for Manchester United if they want him to remain at the club next season. The former Juventus sta’will hardly accept another season in the Europa League’ and will leave Manchester United if they fail to finish in the top four. The Frenchman has been impressive in recent weeks under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but it seems the Red Devils face a battle to keep him at the club.

Italian outlet Tuttosport have written on Saturday that Champions League football will be ‘decisive’ in Pogba’s decision whether to stay at or leave United in the summer. United are currently battling Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea for two top four places and, despite their resurgence under Solskjaer since he took over from the sacked Jose Mourinho in December, do risk missing out on Europe’s premier competition.

Manchester United are on the brink of exiting the Champions League in the last-16 stage against Paris Saint-Germain, while they are also in a four-way race for two spots in the Premier League’s top four. It is claimed Pogba will not tolerate another year in the Europa League, like he did under Mourinho in 2016-17 when they won the trophy against Ajax in Stockholm. This has put Juve on high alert as they look to secure a reunion with the French midfielder, who left the Italian giants to join United in a £100million move in 2016.

Manchester United are said to be keen on doing more transfer business with Juve this summer though with a deal for left back Alex Sandro also in the pipeline. Real Madrid’s Marcelo is expected to link up with Cristiano Ronaldo once again in Turin, leaving Sandro free to leave the club.

Marcelo has been at Real Madrid since 2007, making almost 500 appearances in all competitions, but it appears his time in La Liga may be coming to an end. Interest in Sandro is said to be high though with Barcelona and Real Madrid offering competition to United.

Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico is among the players Real Madrid are considering to replace Marcelo, according to his agent Ricardo Schlieper. Schlieper told Radio Rivadavia. “It’s said that Tagliafico’s name has been included on Real Madrid’s shortlist because Marcelo will join Juventus. However, no-one’s called me yet, even if there have been enquiries from other teams. He has two years left on his contract and he has no release clause, but Ajax have set a minimum price for the top European clubs. That said, I think it’s the right time for Tagliafico to step up a level”
