A multi-billion naira mall, Addas Mall owned by Addas Ultimate Limited, yesterday, formally opened to the public in Lagos.
The mall, located in the heart of Agidingbi community, according to the owner, was a one-stop shop for all kinds of products.
This is just as the company debunked insinuation that the mall was owned by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.
Managing Director of Addas Mall, Mrs. Omolara Adebiyi, said she has read all sorts of rumour about the ownership of the mall but insisted she is not a politician and is not fronting for any government official.
“These are the stories I read too. We are individuals. I am not a politician and my husband is also not a politician,” she said.
She recalled that Addas started in a small shop at Ogba before relocating to Agidingbi also in Ikeja. She said the building project for the expansive Addas Mall started in 2017.
Adebiyi said, “We don’t understand how it happened. God just did it. We have groceries, clothing, shoes, household, electronics and all many others. But we still attribute it to God and hard-work.”
