Ebony’s father Wants to Sue Both Mortuary and The Man Who Touched her Late Daughter’s Private Parts

The Father of late Dancehall artiste, Ebony, has revealed his intention to take legal action against the hospital where a mortuary attendant video his daughter’s corpse.
Nana Opoku Kwarteng, who wasn’t pleased by the development, noted that although he has not seen the video, he will sue all the people that were involved in recording Ebony’s corpse at the mortuary.

Ebony, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, was killed in a fatal accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway after she visited her mother on February 8. Her childhood friend and assistant, Franky Kuri, and their bodyguard all died in the fatal crash.
A viral video showing the dead bodies of the late singer and her friend Franca Kuri in a mortuary has left the public astonished with many condemning the video recording.
A morgue attendant can be seen in the video touching and examining the badly injured bodies of the two showing bruises and for Ebony a deep cut in the head.
The address of the mortuary is not known as well as the attendant’s identity.

It appeared there were more than two persons involved in the insensitive act as another assistant was seen using a mobile device to film the incident.
Father of the late singer, speaking in an interview with Hitz FM’s Ibrahim Ben-Bako, said such an act is unacceptable.
“I’ve been told [but] I haven’t seen that. I hate to watch it. Trust me…you and I know it’s too bad a thing to do and therefore we are going to take them on…,” he said.
Mr. Kwarteng, who revealed he was going to start the legal process shortly, warned that “Whoever is involved in the recording… we will meet at the court.”

Mortuary Attendant Was Caught Red Handed Assaulting The Corpse’s of Late Ebony

A viral video showing the bodies of the late Afropop singer, Ebony Reigns, and her friend Franca Kuri in a mortuary, has left the public horrified.
A mortuary attendant can be seen touching and examining the badly injured bodies of the two showing bruises and for Ebony a deep cut in the head.

The location of the mortuary is unknown as well as the identity of the attendant.
It appeared there were more than two persons involved in the insensitive act as another assistant was seen using a mobile device to film the incident.
“Unbelievable! Life is too short,” he said and left hold of the head. “I have taken footage of it.
If I see it on social media, I will hold you responsible because I won’t share it,” another person is heard as saying.
Moments after that, the same man was captured fondling Ebony’s bre.asts and private part, until the one taking footage asked him to take off his hands just so he could film his preferred part.
As to why they would do what they’re doing is already disturbing, but that they even took videos of the episode makes things 100 times worse.

The male attendant had earlier performed similar touch on the body of Franklina Nkansah Kuri, who together with a military officer, died alongside the musician in a tragic crash on the Sunyani-Kumasi road on February 8, 2018.
It is yet to be established if the incident happened at the Mankranso Government Hospital where the deceased bodies were initially taken after the accident.
It is also not clear if that formed part of the duties of the attendant and the fact that the act was filmed and circulated, has got social media activists publicly registering disapproval.
A very angry Ama Nyamesah Drewry, posted on Facebook demanding the immediate arrest and possible prosecution of the persons behind the unfeeling act.

Suspect – I Rob Because Many People in the Government Steal

A robbery suspect is not even ashamed of his crimes and he even justifies himself by saying, since government people are also involved in it, he will also partake and he is not going to stop.
One out of the two armed robbers that were arrested recently by the Niger State Police Command has disclosed that if he is being released, he would still go back to his crime.
According to reports by PUNCH, the suspects, by name Bello Mallam and Shehu Buda were both detained in Talba Estate, Bida, and they disclosed that they went into crime because of the economic hardship of the country and also the inability of the government to provide jobs.

Mallam, 18 and Shehu, 20, were followed and arrested after they robbed one Mohammed of the sum of N7,400 and two mobile phones valued at N9,000, after inflicting injury on him with a machete and planks for not allowing them to ra.pe his daughter
Buda disclosed that he committed the crime due to the economic recession in the country. “Many people are stealing in the country, including top government officials. People are dying of hunger and there is no job.”
What else do you expect me to do other than stealing? If am discharged by the police, I will still go back to rob people. The country is in a bad situation,” he said unrepentantly. The suspects will be charged to court at the end of the investigation.

Nigerians Have Reacted after Daddy Freeze Tagged Bishop Oyedepo ‘Bald Headed Fowl’

Daddy Freeze is being slammed currently after he labelled Bishop David Oyedepo as ”bald-headed fowl” after the news appeared that the church had received ₦35 million from Ex-JTF boss, Emmanuel Atewe as part of the money that was still under investigation as regards the ₦8.5 billion fraud.
Though the pertinence of the revelation, Nigerians were not having any of that, as many blasted Daddy Freeze for making a silly remark on a man of God.

African Residents in Israel Painted Their Faces White In order to Avoid Deportation

Israel has fulfilled its promise of detaining and also deporting African migrants last week after the country detained seven Eritreans who don’t want to go back to Rwanda.
The Israeli government had decided to give each migrant $3,500 to leave, with the option of going back to their country or to a third country. If they don’t leave by end of March, migrants will face indefinite incarceration. Immigration officials are also hiring civilian inspectors to help them to investigate and detain the migrants.
However Israel’s plan which got worldwide criticism from human rights advocates both in and outside the country, calling on prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to expel the asylum seekers, saying the nation has “no refugee problem”, didn’t make the Jewish nation renege on the plan.

Reporting the incident, two refugee rights groups, the Hotline for Refugees and Migrants and Aid Organization for Refugees and Asylums seekers in Israel (ASSAF), disclosed that the authorities handed the asylum seekers “deportation notices”, and imprisoned them at the Saharonim prison in the south of Israel.
To protest the deportation, inmates at the Holot prison in the Negev desert first embarked on a hunger strike. African migrants also went out into the streets, protesting in front of embassies like that of Rwanda, and hoping to pressure officials to end their expulsion. Some of those demonstrating also painted their faces white, suggesting they were being sent into danger because Israel didn’t believe their black lives mattered.

In recent months, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has spoken about how Israel is struggling to cope with what he calls a migrant crisis.
Presently, the United Nations estimates that there are nearly 40,000 African migrants in Israel, the bulk of them being Eritreans and Sudanese.
Most of the refugees have fled adverse conditions in their home countries which, like Sudan, have been ravaged by war, economic hardship and in the Eritrean case, corruption.
Rwanda, where many of the migrants are being reportedly sent, recently said that it was “wrong and offensive” that asylum seekers were being given the option of going to Rwanda or to jail. Research has shown that those previously deported to Rwanda and Uganda continue to face danger and death, even risking their lives by taking perilous onward journeys to Europe.

CBN – We’ll Flood the Market with Lower Naira Denominations

The Central Bank of Nigeria, in a bid to address the acute shortage of lower denomination currencies, commenced an exercise aimed at flooding the market with N100, N50, N20, N10 and N5 Naira notes. The apex bank, however, warned against hoarding and cloning of the lower currency notes, stating that anyone caught would face the full wrath of the law.
Speaking at a sensitization programme at the Wuse Market in Abuja, the Director, Currency Operations, CBN, Mrs. Priscilla Eleje, said the apex bank was unhappy that lower denomination naira notes were in short supply.
She stated that the bank was mindful of the development and had decided to address the challenge, starting with traders.

She also warned those who were hoarding the lower denomination naira notes for the purpose of profiting from their resale to stop the idea as they risked prosecution when caught.
Eleje said,
“We spend money to print money every year. But we don’t see the money in the market. So, we called the market unions and banks to a meeting in our office on how to resolve that. We are here to inform you that we have started giving money to you traders via your association and the banks.
“We will monitor the disbursements and spending. No more sales of lower denomination currencies at Dei Dei (a suburb in Abuja popular for the sale of new naira notes). The Police are on the lookout and will arrest and prosecute offenders. We will give the money to the association via the commercial banks.”
She added,
“All you need to do is to take your higher denomination currencies to your association and exchange with lower denomination currency equivalents.
“It’s not like the money is free. It’s just an exchange and we want it to be available to you people to do your business with ease. So, please let us know if you can’t access it. We want to ensure you trade seamlessly.”
On counterfeiting of the naira, Eleje described it as a complete economic loss that the CBN was working with the security agencies to address.
She said,
“Counterfeit money is an economic loss. Don’t collect it and don’t spend it. The loss is on you. That’s the law. However, we have machines with special inbuilt features to detect fake or counterfeited currencies. It’s a big crime and we are dealing with it.
“The banks have been directed to return the counterfeited currencies to us so that we study them to see the security features that are being counterfeited. So, we try to know which features are probably vulnerable and we improve on those going forward.
“We have reports of banks issuing counterfeit money. We are also monitoring banks issuing currencies that are mutilated. Report such banks to the CBN and you will get a redress.”

A Nigerian Man Cries Out – “Every time we make love the vag*na is deep and wide”

A Nigerian man who is hurt emotionally has cried out for help after he saw a used condom in his toilet that he shares with his girlfriend.
According to him, he came home only to see a condom that has been used inside the toilet, which he was so sure he did not use. The girlfriend has denied using the condom and she claimed she was going to ask him about the condom too.

The man has taken to social media to seek aid and get people’s opinion on whether to end the relationship with his girlfriend.
Read his story below:
Should I Break Up With Her, Serious Advise is Needed? I am in a bad situation and I need advice, please.
My girlfriend Tinuke I call her tintin for short, has been the center of my world but for some time now certain things have me worried… We started dating 2 years ago when we moved in together after the sixth month, we do everything together at least whenever we can.
To be clear I am not a jealous person but some things have really got me worried.
1. When we met she told me she has lots of guys as friends, and that she used to be a tomboy, even at work she has only guys as her friends, She works in KFC as a checkout girl.
2. We once went to her secondary school reunion and there were over 50 guys there and she was the only girl! I had to ask her if she went to an all guy’s school and she said these are the boyfriends of her classmates that the girls will soon arrive. They never did she danced with every single guy there, but at least she introduced me to her 4 school sons and 3 school fathers who took care of her during her high school days. The only thing that bothered me about the night was she kept sitting on the laps of a particular guy who seemed way older than her to have been her school son back then and for some reason they were whispering stuff into each other’s ears all night.
3. I work with an importer as his warehouse manager and sometimes I have to sleep there whenever we are doing stock-taking and I have come home twice to find her with one of her school sons shirtless in my house and she says they are doing interview preparations (She has a big heart and loves helping people) so I can’t fault this I just always caution her to tell these guys to not take off their shirt in the house, yes granted the house I hot as we live in a self-contained. But they usually drink up all the garri in the house it’s so annoying!
4. We once went to see her uncle she grew up with somewhere in Ikoyi and when we got to bourdilion she had to call several times finally her uncles driver came to pick us, I had to wait in the security house while she went in to see her uncle for over 5 hours and they didn’t even offer me ordinary water? I was so pissed.
5. KFC really stresses her out, she works even holidays, and every night around 10 her boss has to call and she has to give him reports sometimes he calls her to come back to the branch for random stock taking or reconciliation though he usually comes to pick her himself and is kind enough to send cool looking guys to drop her off the next day.
6. Another issue is that se.x between us is so bad, as in every time we make love the vag*** deep and wide constantly comes to mind, she says its the stress at work that makes her kitty so wide, I mean it is wide!! One can easily build a two wing duplex and still have space to park ten cars in there. We have had several talks about her quitting this job but not just because of how it affects her body but I have seen several nu.des pictures of male organs to some rich customers sent to her, I was very angry but she explained that I shouldn’t that she always blocks the numbers.
7. Recently I came home and I found an empty condom wrap in the toilet seems it was flushed but didn’t go, she said she wanted to ask me who did that, and what really got me angry was I saw a plate in the sink with remnants of garri and milk, I was saving that remaining garri she said her school son dropped by for tutorials, I have wanted her in the past about using up the garri in the house for these guests, now I think this has gone far enough. AI am seriously thinking of breaking up with her. I need a woman who can manage our resources not waste! She is a truly wonderful person with a big heart but this wastage has got to stop. I love her but this thing is driving me nuts!!

Nigerian Comedian Owen Gee – ‘I almost committed suicide last year’

Nigerian comedian and TV presenter, Owen Gee, has shared his personal experience how he had to battle with depression just like every other celebrity.
Own Gee is well known for his funny comedy skits. He disclosed that he nearly took his own life in 2017 when he was faced with some life challenges.

According to Owen Gee:
“I have had suicidal tendencies. Last year, I tried several things, but they did not work out. It was not because the ideas were bad, but the people I was working with just didn’t let them work out. Then anxiety and depression set in.
“It was then I realized that no drug could calm depression. There was hardly anyone I didn’t take. There was a time I was sleeping on drugs. There was a particular yellow tablet that, if I took it on Tuesday, on Wednesday I would only be prompted to barely wake up, eat and go back to sleep even before I finished eating. I would not wake up until Thursday.”
Owen Gee recounted the experience on Sunday during the unveiling of Live and not Die, an initiative that was aimed at stemming the tide of suicide in the country. With Kunle Pelemo as the anchor for the event, the programme was held in Lagos and also encouraged numerous professionals to share their personal experiences while experts provide solutions to depression.

According to Pelemo, suicide is very rampant that the World Health Organisation confirmed that it is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. WHO, he added, noted that about a million people committed suicide every year. Pelemo thus believes that it is essential to take a conscious and sustained effort to tackle the menace.
He told the stakeholders that gathered at the Empowerment Centre, Allen Avenue, Ikeja,
“The idea and passion for suicide prevention dawned on me after my intervention helped to prevent a friend and protégé from carrying out the destructive act. At LAND, we realize that there is always a gap between the period of suicide ideation and the act. If we care enough to render support to people prone to suicide, we will achieve a zero-suicide society.”
Other people who shared their experiences and offered several motivational ideas at the programme include Eniola Emmanuel, Victor Adigwe, Teniola Adeyemi, Alayande Stephen and Adelegan Rotimi. They all expressed the need for everyone to see life as a system of ups and downs, with all of them agreeing that challenges, no matter how tough, are often a stepping stone to breakthroughs.

JAMB Warns Parents – “Stay Away From UTME Centres”

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has asked candidates’ parents that are sitting for this year 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination to stay away from Computer-Based Centres.
The JAMB Registrar, Prof Is-haq Oloyede, made this statement on Monday in Abuja while monitoring the Mock UTME at the Kogo and Veritas University CBT centres, he noted that some parents had formed the habit of staying around the centres in order to engage in examination malpractice.

JAMB Registrar, Prof Is-haq Oloyede said,
“We urge parents to keep away from CBT centres. We are preparing people for university education, but the parents come around too often. They want their children or their wards to pass at all costs.
“This practice is not helpful because they will not follow these candidates to the lecture rooms. Lecturers and others will start taking undue advantage of such parents because they are not mature. They are not prepared for the task. I think parents should steer clear of all CBT centres and allow the children to grow.”
Oloyede enjoined the UTME candidates to stay away from every form of cheating during the examination, as the board would monitor all the computers to be used.
He said that all electronic devices, such as phones, headsets, flash drives and other items, such as wristwatches and calculators, remained banned.
Noting that the ban on special eyeglasses and pens also applied to supervisors and examiners, the registrar said,
“We urge the candidates to avoid any form of malpractice or shortcut to passing the examination. You are aware that we have banned some items from going into the examination halls; we have banned special glasses, wristwatches and many other things that we are aware our candidates use for illicit activities.
“As the candidates are getting cleverer, the board is getting wiser. We have done everything possible to avoid the issue of logging out. When a student sees that the questions are difficult, he plays some pranks, removes some wires, pulls out the cable. Then there is a problem. But we are going to monitor every system and if we discover that a candidate deliberately shut down a system, he will carry his cross.”

On his Instagram page, he said, ”God will answer your prayer this year… @ritadominic I see the handwriting on the wall of certainty, this year will definitely not pass you by…
They say “weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning”. @ritadominic I don’t know that particular THING that has been your number 1 prayer point before God, but I am optimistic that God will answer you this year, sometimes people mistake our smiles for perfection, but nobody really knows our little-unsaid prayers to God, all they see is the beautiful makeup, and great smiles.
It just shows that everyone has one thing or the other he/she is looking up to God for. @ritadominic I don’t know why I’m being led to say these words to you, but God is working things out for your good, it would definitely end in praise and thanksgiving. Can someone please say an Amen to this my Big sister.”

IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu’s Wife Was Seen by Security Agents in Ghana

The leader of the proscribed secessionist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has been spotted by security agents in Ghana. TheCable reports that the Nnamdi and his wife have been seen in Ghana.
There has been controversy over the whereabouts of Kanu who was last seen in public in September 2017 before the military launched Operation Python Dance II and raided his home in Aba, Abia state.

His court trial for treason has stalled and Enyinnaya Abaribe, the senator who served as Kanu’s surety when he was granted bail after spending 18 months in detention, has sought to be discharged from the obligation after his disappearance.
TheCable claims it has been informed by security sources that Kanu was ferried to the Niger Delta creeks by militants at the height of Python Dance II, from where he found his way to Ghana by sea.

He is regularly seen at Kenzo Bar and IBG saloon in Accra, disguised in fez cap and usually in company with his wife, Uchechi. Kanu is said to live in an area called Cantonment, also in Accra, at an estate called “Arabella”. He regularly patronizes suya joints in remote parts of the city.

Actress Damilola Adegbite – My Bum Bum Tears Everything I Put On

Damilola Adegbite went to her Instagram page to complain about her buttocks. According to her, her bum is getting bigger in spite the fact that she is on diet.
The mother of one shared pictures and wrote this:
”So today I start a low carb, no bread, no fried foods, no sugar, very very small rice (Why can I feel tears burning my eyes as I type this, no chocolate and no ice cream diet for 3 weeks (for starters). My bum bum wants to tear everything I put on.
The good news however is I can choose to have just a little on my cheat days which will be Sunday”
Late last year, Damilola got divorced from her Ghanaian Husband Chris Attoh and their divorce made the headlines.
The actress in an Instagram post disclosed that the year 2017 was the toughest year for her.
She wrote;
2017 was a tough year for me. One of the toughest of my life. My trust was betrayed in heartbreaking ways and I had to go through some very painful overwhelming changes. But in all this, I am eternally grateful because who I am becoming crystal clear to me. Most importantly, I became more convinced that there is a higher power ( call it nature, karma, the universe.. I choose “GOD”).
A GOD who listens when called on and who fights for the patient and selfless. He gave me some things I thought I really really wanted, to prove to me that there is nothing impossible for him to do, but he took them away again, this time by force, because sometimes, what we want is not necessarily good for us. It’s an uncomfortable process, like a child being weaned, but it signifies growth and advancement. I can’t deny that my scars are still healing, and I’m still a little dizzy from trying to adjust but ultimately, I am thankful for the opportunity to have been handed an almost brand new slate and for the courage to accept it.

This coming year, if things aren’t going the way you planned, sometimes, you may just have to take some steps back or away and choose to look at things from a different angle. I promise you, there is always a silver lining. When you are treated unjustly, you don’t always have to fight back or retaliate. Sometimes all you need to do is WALK AWAY from the situation. The law of karma will sort things out. Whatever happens, trust that things are falling into place as they need to FOR YOUR GOOD. Stay POSITIVE and CHEERFUL, train yourself not to hold on to anything or anyone too tightly and never let anyone or any situation dim your LIGHT. I wish you and your loved ones a prosperous new year. May 2018 be the best year of our lives so far  I don’t know about you but I am super SUPER excited about my future

A Female Medical Doctor Advises Nigerian Men To Marry More Than One Wife

A female doctor who’s based in Lagos wrote on her social media in order to urge more Nigerian men to marry more than one wife if they have the money to do do.
The medical doctor who works at Federal Medical Center, Ebute Metta in Lagos known as Hauwa Ibrahim, has been followed by mixed reactions and criticisms online based on her comment she posted on Facebook.

The lady in her viral post, enjoined Nigerian husbands to marry a second wife or an extra wife (as the case may be) if they have been faithful and have the means to do so.
According to her, marrying more wives is better than cheating and adultery on their wives with other ladies, adding that the Islamic laws and tradition supports her statement.
Below is what Hauwa posted on social media;
“Dear men after being a responsible Husband, try marrying a second wife if you have the means, those with two should marry three and those with three should marry four! That’s a great Sunnah and it’s better than the irresponsible act of chasing young girls out there.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Ejindu finally got married to his two lovelies, Ebere and Oyediya, over the weekend at Agbala Amangwu Amogudu in Abiriba, Aba State.
The unusual wedding ceremony had alot of guest in attendance, see more photos below;

James Ibori – It’s Not About Buhari’s Age, Are The Youth Ready To Lead?

Former Delta State governor, James Ibori has opined on why Nigerians should be more concerned with whether the youth are ready to lead, rather than unnecessary probing and generational shift at the nation’s helm of affairs.
According to Ibori, he said that what the country need is courage and vision as “age has nothing to do with good leadership”.
Most Nigerians have been yearning for a generational shift in the country’s leadership, hence the reason he had spoken on that.
The ‘Not too young to run’ bill — which gives the youth the better chance to contest in elective positions — has also been passed at the national assembly.
In an article he wrote, Ibori said politics is a “game of ideas and numbers” and that the Nigerian youth needs to pay “the required price.”

He argued that the call for President Muhammadu Buhari not to seek re-election so as to pave way for a youth to lead the country is unjustified.
“The choice we face is not that of ‘paedarchy’ or ‘paedocracy’ versus gerontocracy,” he said.
“This age-related argument should not be aimed at Buhari. The constitution gives him the right to seek the presidency for two terms. The argument for and against him should be based on his record of achievement.
“The young ones need to make the necessary sacrifice, study the problems facing the society, master how to solve the problems of the various parts of the Nigerian federation.
“Has the youth trumped the old in behaviour, morality, leadership, integrity, and frugality? How have our youth fared in the professions, the military, and the civil service? Do they even hold out any hope for the nation?”
Ibori said, unlike the Nigerian youth, some of the world’s leaders including France President Emmanuel Macron —who was 39 years old when he emerged — and former US president Barack Obama had plausible things to offer to their nations before coming on board.
“The election of a Macron in France may have galvanized a section of Nigerians to think that the time is now, he said, adding: “Macron did not contest for office solely on the basis of being a ‘youth’; he ran in a national election based on concrete ideas.”
Citing the case of Chukwuma Nzeogwu — who was 28 years old when he oversaw January 15, 1966, coup, Ibori said “ironically, the problem of Nigeria has been caused, in large part, by exuberant young men who were at the helm of affairs in the first decade of the nation’s independence”.

A bricklayer by name Akinyemi Edgar Koja, who had been on the run after he strangled his wife, Ajoke, to her early grave in their apartment in Agemowo area of Badagry, last December, has been detained by the Police in Lagos.
According to Vanguard, he was caught around Lagos Island, where he has been hiding since the incident happened.
However, during interrogation, the suspect stated that he killed his wife out of jealousy, following that he described his late wife as an adulterous woman.

After killing his 28-year-old wife who was a graduate, he had dumped her dead body inside a well within his area, before running away. It was gathered that there had been a lingering quarrel between the couple until the unexpected occurred.

Koja will be charged before Magistrate’s Court 12, Ebute Meta, for murder, from where he was remanded in prison custody by the Magistrate, Mrs. Bola Folarin Williams, with the case adjourned to March 28 for hearing.

”persistence and a true spirit of sportsmanship have kept me on. Aside from that, I’m also sweet in bed, I am good and very proud of myself. Try me and you will be amazed. I deliver very well. I can drive women crazy”.

He continued to say, “people keep asking the secret of my good looks, but the fact remains that I don’t take alcohol or sugary drinks. I don’t smoke. I also don’t take carbohydrates. I live on vegetables and smoothies. All these keep me going and looking very healthy”.
