Liverpool midfielder, Emre Can believes it is possible for Liverpool to pip United to second.
The Reds started the season with hopes of winning the league, but City has exerted dominance and look set to win the title.
However, the race for second is still on and close, with Liverpool just two points behind United in the heated top four race.
Can told DAZN on that particular tussle: “I think we can finish second in the Premier League.
“To win the title is a bit difficult. In the league it is very close. We focus on all competitions right now.”
