Davido might land in new NYSC trouble

Davido might be in big trouble as his NYSC Programme is to be extended by 3 months without payment.

The issue of Nigerian singer, Davido and his mandatory National Youth Service Corps programme, NYSC has made headlines following the controversy the singer created for himself by not abiding to the NYSC laws.

In respect to his personalty and show biz, the singer might be forced to make some sacrifices to conform to the law however, it appears that Davido wouldn’t be moved despite the likely repercussion of his moves.

Davido at the moment may be extended by 3 months without him getting paid.

According to NYSC Bye Laws which strongly advised her members not to take part in any political campaigns whatsoever, however, photo and video evidence of him campaigning and showing support publicly for his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke for the upcoming Osun State Governorship elections, have gone viral.

One of the NYSC Bye laws of 1993 which is the code of conduct guiding every corps member in the country states that:

“Any member who takes part in partisan politics is liable to extension of service for a period not less than three (3) months without pay.”
