There was tension in the Mbiabam Ibiono Community area in Akwa Ibom
State, after a Vulcanizer by name Nkere-Uta, butchered his wife, Bella
to her grave.
The incident happened at about 8 am early this morning. However, the actual reason why he butchered his wife that have five children for him to death is yet unknown.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Akwa Ibom State, Odiko McDon, confirmed the incident. He said the suspect has been detained by Itam Division of the Nigeria Police Force.
Residents say his late wife woman was a very hard-working petty trader with five children and was said to be loved by those who knew her.
