Official photographer of President Buhari Bayo Omoboriowo – ‘I have suffered very well in my life’

Bayo Omoboriowo, who has achieved a huge success shortly after the 2015 election that brought Muhammadu Buhari into power, Bayo recalled how far he has come to where he is presently in an Instagram post he shared recently.
According to him, there was a time in his life he cried when he didn’t even have garri to drink while schooling with a #2,000 allowance at Unilag. However, when he looks back, he smiles because God has been so faithful to him. His post reads;
his Bayo Omoboriowo… Incase you don’t know, I have suffered very well in my life o..I cried at a time in my life cos I didn’t have garri to drink, my allowance in Unilag days was N2000 per month. I have also hawked pure water before and at different times it looked as though I was never going to be great. Today I look back at all those days and smile cos God has been super good to me. I am so convinced and excited about tomorrow cos I know the path of the righteous is like shining light and it shines brighter and brighter everyday. Don’t give up, your light would shine and you shall be celebrated. Trust God and Trust your Unique Journey!

In the year 2009, he graduated from University Of Lagos and since then, he has been doing only one thing that he loves so much which is photography. He can boldly say that he is the official photographer of Nigeria’s president. The photographer was in the 20 man delegation that followed President Buhari, to Germany for G7 Summit on June 7.
Before now, he has shared stories of how he sold sachet water, also known as “pure water” at a market in Mushin area of Lagos State, just to make some money for his family.
He said, “Yes I hawked pure water in Mushin, Ojuwoye market. They were calling me Bayo pure water because I shout ‘Buy your pure water’ and so they called me Bayo pure water.
“This was when I was still in primary school. At a point, I was ashamed because I would see my schoolmates and their parents driving them home after school.”
He made the confession in a video conversation shared online by Nigerian singer, songwriter, and photographer, Toyin Sokefun-Bello better known as TY Bello.
