A tragedy occurred yesterday when an undergraduate student of the
Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, got drowned in a pool
during a birthday party.
The sad incident had occurred at Cosmila Hotel.
According to reports, the deceased, by name Ezekwe Jideofor John, who was celebrating the birthday of his course mate, when the sad incident occurred.
The school authorities have reached out to the parents of the deceased.
